People with dementia live in the moment, and our job at MeadowView Memory Care Village is to give our residents as many good moments as we can. MeadowView is a premiere memory support assisted living community unlike any other in the state of Iowa. The MeadowView multi-sensory areas and special gathering spots, which include everything in our village from an ice cream parlor, post office and general store to a beauty shop, provide reminders and encouragement to make each and every day pleasant. This unique village provides a caring, warm environment for people with memory loss. Our experiential village design, expertise in dementia and family care giving are what sets us apart.

Dementia is a difficult disease to understand. Often loved ones are labeled as having a form of Dementia but the families are not educated on what that means, why the disease causes certain characterisitcs or how to manage it.
Because of this, we offer free education to families and local organizations. In addition we hold a family run support group the last Moday of each month from 6:30pm-8pm in the MeadowView front living room. Contact Angie McClure at 319.540.4787 for details.
